Jordan Stewart
Arts Based Researcher

Jordan Stewart, MDiv, is an actor, director, arts educator, licensed pastoral counselor, and researcher. His current research interests are at the intersectionality of mental health, the arts, and spirituality for black communities. Jordan’s dream is to bring drama therapy programs to HBCUs.
As a proud co-founding member of Drama Therapists United, Jordan focuses on the arts as a creative educational model for learning and social change. He is very excited about the Kindness Challenge and the way more kindness can be spread throughout the world!
Kassandra Byrd
Performing Artist

Kassandra Byrd is a co-founder, and the performing artist of Drama Therapists United. Through her academic career, Kassandra has been exposed to many different art forms, including dance, theatre., and voice.
Kassandra brings her lived experiences and her art of storytelling. to DTU. She is excited about the Kindness Challenge. as she believes in the mustard seed approach to kindness: as we each do our bit, we accomplish our part to make an impact.

Michelle Foster

Michelle, MS, RDT, CPT, is one of Drama Therapists United’s co-founders and the group’s registered drama therapist. She brings years of professional experience engaging individuals and groups bridging the gap in mental health access through compassionate exploration. Michelle utilizes drama therapy, creative arts, psychoeducation, mindfulness, and narrative interventions in her work. She believes that through creative expression and spontaneity, we create space for our most authentic selves. Michelle feels fortunate for the creativity, talent and joy team DTU brings to each meeting, workshop, and initiative. She is thrilled to engage in this year’s initiative: The Kindness Challenge.
